BDD
Anonymous |
| Topic(s): |
BDD Anonymous, is a 12-Step
oriented support group for those
suffering from body image problems. BDD (an imagined ugliness disorder)
affects over 2% of our population, with symptoms including an
exaggerated and negative preoccupation with one's physical appearance
often causing major depression, severe anxiety, extreme low self
esteem, social phobias, etc.
Our group is sensitive and
empathetic, providing an atmosphere of
understanding and compassion, where we discuss the solutions and life
skills gained thru the application of the highly effective 12-Steps to
overcome this often disabling condition!
